Ha Ha - the sound of laughter, an expression
of triumph on discovering something
... as our planet moves to the colder climes of its solar orbit and the inexorable increase in its surface temperature is further modified by global dimming, the vast oceans twixt the land absorb the predominance of that extra heat as potential precipitation, which is then shed upon both land and sea; the consequences of which are BEING daily experienced by ALL LIFE on EARTH as the sea levels continue to rise.
Ha Ha - a ditch or vertical drop forming a barrier
without interrupting the view
... as stewards of ALL LIFE on EARTH it IS the responsibility of our species, individually and collectively, to seek authenticity of ACTION, and recognise that the transcendance of EGO is analagous to the concept of the ha ha. Once acknowledged, the EGO is accepted as "forming a barrier without interrupting the view" of the purpose of ALL LIFE on EARTH and throughout the multiverse of parallel universes.
Whilst the wars of fundamentalist religious & non-religious motivation continue to rage around the planet and a supplementary climate change conference is convened in Copenhagen, the concluding statements of the first part of this week's Financial Times series The Future of Capitalism; written by Martin Wolf & entitled "Seeds of its own destruction"; absolutely place into context the predominately patriarchal political mind-set of our new masters of the globe who are presently engaged, as ever, in confrontational discussions as to the agenda and its agreed underlying values & principles of their "last chance saloon" economic catastrophe event, due to take place in London on the 2nd April.
"On June 19 2007, I concluded an article on the “new capitalism” with the observation that it remained “untested”. The test has come: it failed.
The era of financial liberalisation has ended. Yet, unlike in the 1930s,
no credible alternative to the market economy exists and the habits of
international co-operation are deep.
'I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas any more,' said Dorothy after a tornado dropped her, her house and dog in the land of Oz.
The world of the past three decades has gone. Where we end up, after this financial tornado, is for US to seek to determine."
Martin Wolf
There will be a pre-cursor meeting to discuss the 2nd April EVENT this week-end in West Sussex, England to discuss an outline of the agenda but apart from the major EAST / WEST division of savers & spenders amongst the 20 participants, there IS already a major rift within the WEST as to whether regulation of the underlying causes of this catastrophe should be included, as well as adopting the spend, spend, spend mentality of both the US & UK administrations at the expense of the long-suffering, taxpaying and saving communities.
An absolute exemplification of the WE KNOW BEST - THEM and US - MIND-SET.
WILL this meeting of minds of our new masters of the globe - in the face of the common-sense ACTIONS of the people - IN FACT be destined to become the beginning of the FINAL Black Swan Event of our species? ... or WILL the people IN FACT have the "last laugh" over their new masters of the globe?
IT would seem that the ONLY HOPE of a "global common-sense outcome"
to the G20 summit in London lies with one of the 20 participants, the
president of Brazil.
LET US HOPE and PRAY that his own values and principles concerning
"The future of human beings IS what matters" can INDEED prevail ...
IN OUR PURSUIT
of THE necessary
TIME methinks to LIVE LUCID in4D
Greatful thanks to Wikipedia for the "Humpty Dumpty Hedgerow" picture, atop the
barrier "twixt" the people and their masters and its supportive cross-section.

Gordon Brown - the man who claimed "to have ended the cycle of boom and bust for the UK" - Didn't he also save the world as well from ALL of its financial woes? - is here again at the penultimate moment of the Euro Crisis expounding the fact that IF the G20 doesn't get its act together to help keep the Euro alive we shall all be faced with potential bailouts for France and Italy as well.
Surely its the founding members of the Euro project - Germany, France and Italy - who should now be realising that the wheels are falling off the charabanc because they chose not to fit tyres to the wheels in the first place.
Most of us would view a monetary experiment which has led directly to the bankruptcy of entire countries, and the ruination of so many lives, as an unqualified failure. BUT the European political class is determined to retain its insane financial architecture, regardless of human considerations. From this side of the Channel, we must continue to muddle along in our boring, matter-of-fact way: to hope that it all works out for the best, while making prudent provision in case it does not.
WHAT IF Nassim Taleb's "Black Swans" were engineered by a group of men - living together in society today - as a result of information asymmetry ?
" When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society - they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorises it and a moral code that glorifies it "

Britain’s banks are under-capitalised. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Under the Bank of England’s worst-case estimate, lenders need to raise something in the order of £60bn, more than three times the amount required to bail out Cyprus, which gives some idea of the scale of the problems officials think the industry faces.
This week, the Bank of England’s Financial Policy Committee, the most powerful body overseeing macro-economic stability, will reveal its decision on how to tackle any capital shortfall.
Banks are braced for grim news on the strength of their balance sheets.
THE most important lesson that I learnt at Borehamwood Grammar School - was that which was delivered to me by my English Literature teacher called Mr. Wilkinson. When discussing the concept of critical analysis & appraisal, I said that there were obviously two directly opposed categories of criticism - constructive & destructive - to which he replied never ever apologise for offering constructive criticism - while all those around you perceive ALL criticism to be destructive.
Reality is not just the bad; it is also the good. The mind requires
an awareness of both in order to work at its best.
For one who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends,
but for one who has failed to do so, his/her very mind will be the greatest enemy.
- as Carl Jung so rightly stated -
THE most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely.
When one considers the actions of our "masters of the globe" - I invariably amuse myself by thinking about Leonardo da Vinci's take on them, which was that they were -
"as wise as the wind they fart from their arses"

“SO does it all come down to how we interpret human nature?” asked
Jonathon Porritt in his introduction to the final chapter of his epic …
CAPITALISM as if the world matters; before the economic crisis even emerged
and went on to ask “Are we genetically predisposed, as Richard Dawkins argues, to raise up the short term and the selfish over the long term and the altruistic?”
He then goes on to conclude that “UNTIL sustainable development IS embraced as the genuinely ”BIG IDEA” that IT really IS, then things are likely to get a very great deal worse before they start to get better. And IT IS only a transformation towards a very different kind of capitalism - as if the world really matters - that offers ANY KIND of PROSPECT of a sustainable future”
To which James Lovelock, creator of the GAIA theoryhas responded …
“The world IS on the brink of a vast and mostly unpleasant change that may mark the end of the present civilization. To renew and rebuild, we need to listen to the voices of the few truly selfless and thoughtful individuals among us, and Jonathon
Porritt is one of them. His vision is much more optimistic than mine,
which sees the need for a massive retreat from development, sustainable
or otherwise, if we are to avoid another dark age on a torrid and
mostly uninhabitable EARTH.”

John Perkins, wrote in 2004, of his anger at the continuing act of collective denial on the part of so many people in the political and business elite …
“We prefer to believe the myth that thousands of years of human social evolution has finally perfected the ideal economic system, rather than face the fact that we have merely ”bought” into a false concept and accepted it as gospel.
We have convinced ourselves that ALL economic growth benefits mankind, and that the greater the growth the more widespread the benefits. Finally, we have persuaded one another that the corollary to this concept is valid and morally just: that people who excel at stoking the
fires of economic growth should be exalted, and rewarded, while those
born at the fringes are available for exploitation. The real story IS that WE are living a lie.”
IT MUST NOW become clear to the peoples of this planet that our
new masters of the globe have only ever been responsible for
“blowing air as NO THING into the balloon” on the basis of providing
the security of reduced national debt, healthcare, education and
pensions; and charging handsomely for doing so; only for the hard-pressed peoples of this planet to pay for ALL the costs of re-assembling the balloon, once it bursts, TIME after TIME after TIME.
IS IT NOT the case that the elite and their corrupt cohorts get richer and richer
and richer as the rest get poorer and poorer and poorer? - until
presumably we here in the UK will be expected to pay 60, then 70 then
80% of our income to feed the self-sophisticated arrogance and greed of our own political, banking and business elite?
… bearing in mind that the vast majority of aid for the poor of this planet IS provided by the poor of this planet.

HOW do we nurture THE ACTION of ”creativity” ?
| delete
Provide our children with opportunities to be that which God intended they be…compassionate, loving, unique, connected, and free to think their
own thoughts, so they understand how to listen to the wind. :)

IT IS fair to say that the United Kingdom has been close to the centre of ACTION for several centuries, since Oliver Cromwell first took ACTION to ensure that PEOPLE should NOT be afraid of their governments and that GOVERNMENTS should BE afraid of their people.
ALAS the GOVERNMENTS of the United Kingdom, both conservative and labour new or otherwise, since Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan's FINANCIAL BIG BANG, have BECOME ever more selfishly sophisticated, arrogant and greedy for the power of centralised political control of the MINDSET of the PEOPLE.
NO BETTER EXAMPLE of which has been manifested by way of lengths to which our glorious non-elected Prime Minister, Mr. Gordon Brown, has evidently been willing to stoop, in his quest to suppress ANY VIEWS on ANY SUBJECT other than his own. Even to the extent that to convince his own ego of “the fact” that HE ALONE inhabits the MORAL HIGH-GROUND, he chose to preach to ALL and SUNDRY from the pulpit of
St. Pauls Cathedral before the recent G20 Summit in London.
IT IS possible for a brain to function with one hemisphere, but as Janie has said elsewhere WHY use one when you can access 2 ?
LET US HOPE & PRAY that, despite ALL of this political interference, the children will indeed BE free to think their own thoughts, so they understand how to listen to the wind !!!

IN MANY WAYS the saying ”know thyself” IS NOT well said.
IT WERE more practical to say ”KNOW other PEOPLE!”
Menander, Greek poet, 343-292
… and as Simon Heffer has written in today's Daily Telegraph
“The impression that we are governed by the worst elements of a particularly
nasty fifth form at a sink comprehensive will not have escaped you in recent
days. Most objectionable, though, is the failure of the headmaster to admit
responsibility for the smell. When a school goes wrong, it is usually the
head's fault for presiding over a lack of discipline and for bad management
of his staff. So it is with governments.”
AS for Gordon Brown's letters of “regret”, what else could be expected than Nadine Dorries's “cesspit” response ? As Nadine Dorrie has said in the video a
“NEW MORAL LOW” indeed …
for “THE MAN” who alone inhabits the MORAL HIGH-GROUND and seemingly has an EGO so big that any concept of leading by the example of the manifestation of authentic self, has never ever crossed his mind.

AND to quote an old Cherokee Prayer Blessing …
May the warm winds of heaven blow softly upon your house.

May the rainbow always touch your shoulder.

SO MUCH for the ”entente cordiale” which was supposedly established as a result
of spending ALL that taxpayer's money on the G20 Summit in London recently …
WHO THE **** does Nicolas Sarkozy think he IS ?
Presumably one at a ”higher level of consciousness” than
the EGO of the ”THE MAN” of which I have recently spoken ?
Ha Ha BONK!

Michael,
have mercy with Sarko:) He likes it the theatrical way:)playing a bit Napoleon.
What he is strong in is expressing new European energy outwards. To the global landscapes. And in fact his instincts are right!
Its a shame that European leadership inst advanced more right now. Seen from outside.

I KNEW you would be out there “listening” Albert ! … so forgive my tongue in cheek remarks because I too, DO BELIEVE that Sarko IS at a higher level of consciousness by way of following his instincts and …
Oh that ALL the leaders of Europe were so motivated.
As Pelle Billing has said -
“As long as you defend the notion that equality means equal opportunities, rights and responsibilities - while rejecting affirmative action and
other forms of discrimination - then we are basically working towards the same goal.”

As Edmund Phelps has concluded in his FT - The future of Capitalism - article
Uncertainty bedevils the best system …
”MUCH IS dysfunctional in the US and the UK: a financial sector that
turned away from the business sector, then caused its self-destruction,
and a business sector beset by short-termism. If we still have our
humanist values we will try to restructure these sectors to make
capitalism work well again – to guard better against reckless disregard
of uncertainty in the financial sector while reviving innovativeness in
business. We will not close the door on systems that gave growing
numbers rewarding lives.”
SO ALSO may ALL the leaders of the Globe be motivated
to ”Leap into the Future” in the face of the uncertainty
which bedevils the Future of ALL LIFE on our planet !

SO MUCH FOR ”The MAN” who saved the world, he cannot even lead by example his own political party, let alone his government or THE PEOPLE of the UNITED KINGDOM, who he claims to represent.

HOW STUPID ARE WE?
“Men” have been killing men women and children for centuries, trying to save THEIR own part of the world.
The financial, judicial and political systems are ….a mess…?
THIS AINT WORKIN FOLKS…is it?
HAVE YOU HEARD…a child speak who wants to change the world lately?
From Philip:
If many children joined together to help our world things would go smoother than if adults did so. I feel that children see the world from
a whole different perspective than adults do. We can all have a huge
impact on the world no matter what we do to help every day or with
international and national problems.
Many kids see the world clearly and can reflect on it heavier than adults can because we are
not distracted by every day life such as commuting, working and
worrying about money. Although were not supposed to worry about
financial situations it is hard not to. While growing up in a hard time
economically, it's hard to watch all the bad things happen to people
that you know personally. When we all work together it is much easier
to accomplish what we set out for. We can share ideas, and together
take pieces from one idea that might work and match them up with pieces
of other ideas.
Sometimes things might not go as we planned but we might end up doing something that we didn't even set out to do. I am
one of those people who used to think that working alone was the only
way to get things done right. Now that times have gotten tougher and
not to mention busier I recongize that we need to help each other more
than usual. I used to think asking for help was a bad thing. Now i
realize coming toghether and sharing help works.
Occasionally all you can do is brace yourself for the worst but in my twelve years,
one thing that I have learned is to never lose hope, if you truly
desire something you will earn it.
It is hard to just watch while people in other countries or even in my own go through terrible
situations that no one should ever have to go through. What I've
realized is that you don't have to just sit and watch we can all help.
Even the smallest thing can make a difference.
I believe that since children are the future that we should given a chance, to let us
at least try to make a difference before we are grown and become too
busy with the grown up stuff that can be so distracting from what we
want to be focused on.
I thank you for your time and respect,
Philip.
This was placed in my blog by Phillips mother who is a Gaia member. He started his own charity to promote peace on the planet.

Let's hand it over to the kidz as well.
They need the finest nest in the world. At least we can help them find it.
Gaia would be a nice place to start. We need the finest, safest, most spiritual way for them to connect on the planet.
I have connections, yet need a business plan for those who like that kind
of thing. I have taken care of sick children. We all have our talents,
if you have one to share for this effort please contact me.
How can we have a future on this planet if we do not include it in planning the future?
If we cannot trust our young leaders to be involved in fixing this humpty dumpty…

G- a Gaia summit would be nice 2 create Gaia Kidz? But it will take a village, or a whole world to change this one. And it can start with our
little online community, and “world”. But Gaia has to be able to take
action as a community to change the real world. Possibly it is time for
practical action, a practical business plan, and a huge push forward,
from within Gaia?
Might be fun? :)
I know 2 incredibly wise businessmen who are very politically savvy right here in Gaia…would make a great team? Perfect for fixing some of the
things that are discussed, here, with a new system. A yinnish and
yangish team is a good thing…Michael and Albert? What do we have to
lose? I HAVE HEARD…from the wind…and within.. ALOT…
And the great thing is…we have SO much to gain, if we take action.
I know a very cool 6th grade CEO that might like to help you change this world, 2.

The Freedom to associate with whom we might, IS best considered in the context of association with those who have understood that Freedom IS to authentically LIVE the life you really want to live.
For those that truly understand NO explanation IS necessary
For those that don't understand NO explanation WILL suffice
… and as Zephyr has quite succinctly drawn our attention to elsewhere
NO BETTER exemplification of those that truly understand IS BEING manifested than those involved in the Transition Movement.
