What is a visionary? Visionaries are those rare and inspired individuals who see great promise and imminent potentials for human consciousness and culture that most of us haven't even begun to imagine yet. They are no longer merely living to get and to have for themselves, or tenaciously trying to preserve and protect what has already been. Visionaries are living for what has not yet occurred because their attention is riveted by the promise of the possible—that future is already radiant and alive in the field of their imagination.
Because they experience that future - and feel its promise on a daily basis - they live in a state of perpetual discontent, simultaneously deeply inspired and ever-unsatisfied. How many of us have the courage and the heart to live that way—to live for the future like those great souls who have given rise to the higher values of our shared culture?
Andrew Cohen
Just as the sun is at the centre of our solar system, so too must the mind of wisdom be the centre of our diverse personalities. If our minds are strong, then the various parts of our lives will be held firmly to their proper courses, and there will be no chance of deviation.

In the context of my own initiatives to promote the work of dyslexic
artists, I have in general been a supporter of TAC Productions and
their own TIME IS ART initiate; but this inspirational piece from John
Hazard, entitled Manifesting the Noosphere, IS right on time and on
point.
Jose Arguelles may be dead, but as John Hazard has so succinctly
summarised ... Arguelles has left us with a beautifully written book he
calls “Manifesto for the Noosphere.” He clearly envisions a new
synthesis of collective human awareness, a new state of mind that is
a shared experience.
“Just as the biosphere is the unified field of life and its support
systems…so the noosphere is the unified field of the mind, the
psychic reflection of the biosphere. Because we as a species, the
aggregate of consciousness-bearing cells of the evolving Earth,
are not yet awake to our role as a planetary organism, so too the
noosphere is not yet fully conscious. When humanity becomes
conscious of itself as a single organism and unites to activate the
noosphere, we will find the collective resolve and will to reconstruct
the biosphere and divert the energy of the human race from a path of
destruction based on a mechanised abstraction from nature to a new
harmonic order of super-organic reality based on an entirely
different state of consciousness than has yet existed on Earth.”
... and John Hazard concludes - Somehow, part of the description for
how we get there from here is caught up in our perception of time.
Mostly, our way of thinking about time is by thinking about the big
hand and the little hand on a clock. Time is linear, and we perceive
it when we pay attention to the phase of the moon, or the rising and
setting sun. And of course, we get older day by day.
