cognized the dangerous trajectory humankind was hurling toward. In short, we have developed systems incoherent with life-systems. We have energy, finance, production, and many other systems foundational to our civilization that do not result in the regeneration of life. We have mutated dis-harmonically from the precious aspect of
Spaceship Earth's Life Support Systems. Ironically, we haven't found another inter-galactic habitat that offers the same kind of support as our own. However, an awareness of this dilemma has spread globally among the commons in a variety of manners from nuclear power-plant disasters, toxic plastic in our water, lack of dignity for all forms of life, and a myriad of other situations. My realization to this dynamic occurred a couple of decades ago when I realized and witnessed the influence the communications network had on human behavior; and that it wasn't oriented toward the benefit of life, but the short-sightedness of manipulation and control. Since then, I have been on a quest for what Buckminster Fuller described as a fulcrum point. A dynamic point that if you apply some energy toward it, it would catalyze a significant shift in the direction of a system - similar to the rudder of a ship. This took me on a journey across many disciplines spanning anthropology to virtual reality in search of that fulcrum. The journey was extremely humbling because of the wisdom we have available to us from our history and present day. It also frequently caused despair because of the magnitude of corruption that permeates so many of our systems. It made me question whether we were worth the effort of trying to help. But continuously I would encounter amazing people and fellow earthlings to inspire and fuel my pursuit. Paul Quaiser - Human Sustainability Institute

f a [RE]lived GAIA COMMUNITY which with the most
appropriate COMPASSION, COLLABORATION & COOPERATION IN
TRANSISTION remains up and running to this day and accessible
through any internet search engine as well as BY WAY OF my utilisation
of Facebook as a SURFACE to PROJECT IDEAS of TRANSISTION •
and "WHY?" do you ask TRANSISTION • well for those that know and
no doubt understand the multi-dimensional perspective of my
right-brained, left-handed and so-called dyslexic disposition • I have
already explained my absolute respect for the brilliant IDEAS of
Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller but from now on I wish
to dedicate this initiative of mine to THE IDEAS of he whom I would
regard as my best friend ever, because of the few conversations that
we had together during the time when he helped me to re-wire our
home extension in Boreham Wood, namely my father-in-law
Ronald Yardley, who when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage,
exclaimed "WHY on EARTH would you want to DO THAT !!!???" • but
for some one who had built his own digital calculator and a colour
television receiver at home in a kitchen cupboard, ready to receive
the very first BBC Colour Test Signals, and was the very first person I
knew who had explained to me in-depth the purpose of using
TRANSISTORS instead of VALVES at a TIME when, as part and parcel
of a Physics 'A' level experiment, I was involved with the building of an
analogue computer/calculator at Grammar School, utilising valves •
I would dedicate the very concept of TRANSISTION to him,
particularly with respect for the kindness of the hundreds of
Post Office Staff who attended his funeral at Finchley Crematorium,
following his untimely death at 54 years of age, and the thousands of
small donations which were freely given to my soul mate's mother
Joan Yardley and the family. ALL of which for me, has underpinned and gradually evolved into that which I would refer to as...

You’ll find the author's blog at BuckyIdeas.com. Please visit there to read about Buckminster Fuller's IDEAS for today and for news about upcoming events and books.FORM FOLLOWS IDEA examines the work and ideas of influential designers Ralph Ball and Maxine Naylor. Their reflections and propositions provide a refreshing and provocative approach to design, touching on issues such as craftsmanship, modernism, and the role of nature and commercialism in design. Ball and Naylor's work explores ideas of space beyond the physical object. Their concern with cultural and social values is manifest in the form and (dis)function of their designs and appropriations of everyday objects, such as chairs, lights and shelving. FORM FOLLOWS IDEA features their approach to these objects through cultural, ecological and visual narratives. As such, their book provides a playful yet critical re-evaluation of familiar forms and typologies.
ALL of which I would dedicate to my fleeting relationship with Eric R Kuhne and his LOVE of BOOKS and every[THING] related to the SPiRALogic • ART of the POSSIBLE
"Rugged textured cable pipes ran over my head at a train station in New York, creating a trance-like, frightful pattern," says Gautam Kamat Bambolkar. "They ran from the edge of the entrance to an infinite end. It looked nothing less than a scary man-made cave." 1. Embrace abundance, not scarcity. Humans are falsely conditioned by the notion of scarcity promoted by Charles Darwin and Thomas Malthus. The idea of survival of the fittest sets up an us-versus-them mentality. If we believe there is not enough for all, overconsumption and greed are natural results. Only by embracing abundance and setting out to prove there is enough for all can we achieve Bucky’s overriding objective, “To make the world work for one hundred percent of all humanity in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological damage or harm to any individual.” In other words, whether we think we can or think we can’t, we are right.

Through [ART] ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE [NOW] • I have recently become a
Synergy Member of the Buckminster Fuller Institute and been invited to get
involved with the Trimtab Space Camp initiative • so having watched the
Experiencial Space Research Lab piece and listened to David McConville's Gaian
Systems video and the expanding worlds of Margullis and Lovelock, I would
like to suggest from my own humble standpoint that THE VERY BEST VIDEO for
all participants to watch urgently, if in[DEED] they haven't already done so, IS the
film which I have described as "THE MOST EXPENSIVE EVER" because of the costs
involved over decades to develop all of the equipment necessary and to launch it
into space to enable the production of same • namely Earth From Space.
