ing the community submit and select questions for the candidates. If we can reach a few hundred thousand voters on this forum, we believe the candidates will be compelled to answer our top questions.
We want this to be something new. So we've structured things to promote full answers from the candidates. There are no time limits for replies, and we're going to ask you to vote on whether or not the replies were complete answers, "Was that an answer to the question?" not "Did you agree with the answer?" So it will be in the candidates' interest to answer them fully off the bat.
However, this only works if people participate. So IN PREPARATION for the fall of 2012 please, spread the word by sharing this video or emailing your friends about the site

r natural beauty and vitality. Employing concepts of sustainability, ecological economics, and natural capital, the film shows how conventional economics encourages exploitation of our natural resources, ignoring the value of critical goods and services like clean air and water, fertile soil, and other natural assets. We hear from economists who propose a new model that puts a hard currency value on the virgin resources, considered Natural Capital, being harvested from the earth, and impose a value on the burden of squandering these resources in the forms of waste, byproduct and pollution. Mama Earth dispels the myth that being eco-friendly is merely an altruistic endeavor. In the future, it will be the way businesses not only positively impact the environment, but their bottom line as well.

hild ? Isn’t this what Jesus was teaching, that becoming like a child, full of curiosity, wonder, enthusiasm, and unconditional love is the way to heaven?
What has happened to our culture that we feel like we must constantly try to impress people with what we have done rather than simply being authentically who we are?
Simplicity is one of the keys to living in a fulfilled way. A simple life that allows time to live in the moment, aware of nature and in true relationship with other living beings is more fulfilling than one of constant struggle and focus on working and making money.
Are there ways you could simplify your life ? Would sharing your authentic self by being present in the moment at all times serve you and the world better than pursuing huge plans and working yourself to death? Would it be wonderful to recapture the joyful innocence of youth ?

development and natural resource exhaustion to weapons testing and modern warfare itself. Falling water tables, shrinking forest cover, declining species diversity - all presage ecosystems in distress. These trends are now widely acknowledged as emanating from forces of humanitys own making: massive population increases, unsustainable demands on natural resources, species loss, and ruinous environmental practices. Ironically however, war, that most destructive of human behaviors, is commonly bypassed.
In all its stages, from the production of weapons through combat to cleanup and restoration, war is comprised of elements that pollute land, air, and water, destroy biodiversity and entire ecosystems, and drain our limited natural resources. Yet the environmental damage occasioned even by preparation for war, not to mention war itself, is routinely underestimated, underreported, and even ignored. This outstanding, timely, new film explores the crucial need for public scrutiny of the ecological impact of war and reminds us of the importance of accountability and sustainability not in spite of global conflict, but because of it.
