Comment on: Blog Post 'GRACE puts Bristol in the lead ....'
vance    of the first TEST COLOUR TRANSMISSIONS from the BBC • had himself  been offered a job at Goonhilly Down, by GPO Telecommunications,  well before researchers started to investigate packet switching • a  technology that sends a message in portions to its destination  asynchronously without passing it through a centralised mainframe •  but having travelled there by train from where the family were living in  Kentish Town, North London, he was unable to find somewhere for the  family to live locally, and so could not take up the position that he had  been offered. Thankfully not long after, the doctor who was attending    Linnie’s brother Terry, who suffered terribly during the days of the  smog in London, arranged for the family to move to their new home in  Borehamwood. When I started training as an Air Traffic Controller,  cutting my teeth so to speak, on the study of IBM 64K core-store  mainframe systems analysis, as well as all things technologically  related to primary and secondary radar systems, you can just imagine  the conversations that I had with Ron, and not long after I had asked  him for his daughter’s hand in marriage, that a telecommunications  network protocol emerged which constituted the beginnings of the  ARPANET, which by 1981 had grown to 213 nodes. ARPANET  eventually merged with other networks to form the INTERNET  and while Internet development was a focus of the Internet Engineering  Task Force (IETF) who published a series of Request for Comment  documents, other networking advancement occurred in industrial  laboratories, such as the local area network (LAN) developments of   Ethernet (1983) and the Token Ring Protocol of 1984. …

w on I wish to dedicate this initiative of mine to     THE IDEAS of he whom I would regard as my best   friend ever, namely my father-in-law Ronald Yardley, who when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage, exclaimed.. "WHY on EARTH would you want to DO THAT !!!???" • but having built a digital calculator & a colour television receiver at home in a kitchen cupboard,          it was he who had explained to me in-depth the   purpose of using TRANSISTORS instead of VALVES         at a TIME when, as part of a Physics 'A' level experiment, I was involved with the building of an analogue computer/calculator at Grammar School, utilising     valves • I would dedicate the very concept of TRANSISTION to him, particularly with respect for       the kindness of the hundreds of Post Office Staff who attended his funeral at Finchley Crematorium, following his untimely death at 54 years of age. …

in  Boreham Wood, Hertfordshire, and it was there that Kirby Laing  gave the name to the Thermalite block, a lightweight building brick developed from pulverised fuel ash which was and remains immensely successful in its field. I can only imagine that it was because of John Laing's connection with South Africa that my father spoke so highly of the spacial ability of the Zulus and their expertise in the rapidity of Bailey Bridge construction, which the Royal Engineers were tasked with during WWII and it was Kirby Laing who succeeded in convincing his father to release him to serve in the Royal Engineers during the last two years of the war. Following the consequences of the explosion of a land-mine in North Africa, whilst serving as a Royal Engineer in the Eigth Army, my father spent 6 months in a Hospital in Alexandia, Egypt, before then becoming involved with the allied push across the German defensive Gustav line towards Rome, after   a landing in Italy directly from North Africa, by way of his hands-on involvement with the building of the Bailey Bridges over which the likes of Richard Glover's Tank Commander father pushed towards ROME  following the capture of Monte Cassino, whilst my soul-mate Linnie’s father Ronald Arthur Yardley provided telecommunications support throughout the push to Rome and thence the North, until the German surrender.  …

f a [RE]lived GAIA COMMUNITY which with the most appropriate COMPASSION, COLLABORATION & COOPERATION IN TRANSISTION remains up and running to this day and accessible through any internet search engine as well as BY WAY OF my utilisation of Facebook as a SURFACE to PROJECT IDEAS of TRANSISTION • and "WHY?" do you ask TRANSISTION • well for those that know and no doubt understand the multi-dimensional perspective of my right-brained, left-handed and so-called dyslexic disposition • I have already explained my absolute respect for the brilliant IDEAS of Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller but from now on I wish to dedicate this initiative of mine to THE IDEAS of he whom I would regard as my best friend ever, because of the few conversations that we had together during the time when he helped me to re-wire our home extension in Boreham Wood, namely my father-in-law Ronald Yardley, who when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage, exclaimed "WHY on EARTH would you want to DO THAT !!!???" • but for some one who had built his own digital calculator and a colour television receiver at home in a kitchen cupboard, ready to receive the very first BBC Colour Test Signals, and was the very first person I knew who had explained to me in-depth the purpose of using TRANSISTORS instead of VALVES at a TIME when, as part and parcel of a Physics 'A' level experiment, I was involved with the building of an analogue computer/calculator at Grammar School, utilising valves • I would dedicate the very concept of TRANSISTION to him, particularly with respect for the kindness of the hundreds of Post Office Staff who attended his funeral at Finchley Crematorium, following his untimely death at 54 years of age, and the thousands of small donations which were freely given to my soul mate's mother Joan Yardley and the family. ALL of which for me, has underpinned and gradually evolved into that which I would refer to as... THE SPiRALogic of a SYSTEMS MINDSET which is driven by THE SPiRAL ART of THE POSSIBLE rather than the avarice and greed of those who are supposedly in perpetual control of our lives DOING the WRONG THINGS for the wrong reasons which have for example been thus far highlighted by the ZATARRA Report and all that has been thus far revealed about the likes of EPSTEIN and his various associates, as shown in the BBC Panorama TV showing of The Prince and the Epstein Scandal and the very lack of action taken by the FBI, with particular regard to the trafficking of girls across state-borders, which [IT] was set up for in the very first place, to support the concept of a very singular vision of a UNITED STATES of AMERICA and shamefully I would agree here in the UK also.     THE SPiRALogic of the EVOLUTION     [OF] our PERCEPTION OF THE SPIRAL   LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD in[DEED] . …
