f a [RE]lived GAIA COMMUNITY which with the most
appropriate COMPASSION, COLLABORATION & COOPERATION IN
TRANSISTION remains up and running to this day and accessible
through any internet search engine as well as BY WAY OF my utilisation
of Facebook as a SURFACE to PROJECT IDEAS of TRANSISTION •
and "WHY?" do you ask TRANSISTION • well for those that know and
no doubt understand the multi-dimensional perspective of my
right-brained, left-handed and so-called dyslexic disposition • I have
already explained my absolute respect for the brilliant IDEAS of
Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller but from now on I wish
to dedicate this initiative of mine to THE IDEAS of he whom I would
regard as my best friend ever, because of the few conversations that
we had together during the time when he helped me to re-wire our
home extension in Boreham Wood, namely my father-in-law
Ronald Yardley, who when I asked for his daughter's hand in marriage,
exclaimed "WHY on EARTH would you want to DO THAT !!!???" • but
for some one who had built his own digital calculator and a colour
television receiver at home in a kitchen cupboard, ready to receive
the very first BBC Colour Test Signals, and was the very first person I
knew who had explained to me in-depth the purpose of using
TRANSISTORS instead of VALVES at a TIME when, as part and parcel
of a Physics 'A' level experiment, I was involved with the building of an
analogue computer/calculator at Grammar School, utilising valves •
I would dedicate the very concept of TRANSISTION to him,
particularly with respect for the kindness of the hundreds of
Post Office Staff who attended his funeral at Finchley Crematorium,
following his untimely death at 54 years of age, and the thousands of
small donations which were freely given to my soul mate's mother
Joan Yardley and the family. ALL of which for me, has underpinned and gradually evolved into that which I would refer to as...
THE SPiRALogic of a SYSTEMS MINDSET which
is driven by THE SPiRAL ART of THE POSSIBLE
rather than the avarice and greed of those who
are supposedly in perpetual control of our lives
DOING the WRONG THINGS for the wrong reasons
which have for example been thus far highlighted
by the ZATARRA Report and all that has been thus
far revealed about the likes of EPSTEIN and his
various associates, as shown in the BBC Panorama
TV showing of The Prince and the Epstein Scandal
and the very lack of action taken by the FBI, with
particular regard to the trafficking of girls across
state-borders, which [IT] was set up for in the
very first place, to support the concept of a very
singular vision of a UNITED STATES of AMERICA
and shamefully I would agree here in the UK also.

ith them. They’re people like you. They’ve had enough, and, rather than waiting for permission, they’re rolling up their sleeves, getting together with friends and neighbours, and doing something about it. Whether they start small or big, they’re finding that just doing stuff can transform their neighbourhoods and their lives.
The Power of Just Doing Stuff argues that this shift represents the seeds of a new economy – the answer to our desperate search for a new way forward – and at its heart is people deciding that change starts with them. Communities worldwide are already modelling a more local economy rooted in place, in well-being, in entrepreneurship and in creativity. And it works.Praise for The Power of Just Doing Stuff
“Once upon a time it was tempting to mock the idea of a ‘Transition town’ or even transition itself. Rob Hopkins is a truly original thinker who has not only given that concept meaning but has put it into practice in a way that now influences individuals and communities in many parts of the world. The essential proposition is not only that we have to adapt our way of life to meet the enormous environmental challenges that we face but that it is quite possible – and no less practically to the point – a stimulating and enjoyable process as well. IF ever there was an idea whose time has come, this is it. Rob Hopkins’ book is a truly unique piece of work that anyone who cares about our future in this densely populated and threatened world should read. It offers original thought and clear analysis. It also combines realism and hope”.
Jonathan Dimbleby, writer and broadcaster.

He asks us: “What if school nurtured young imaginations?” Of course, we’d all love to believe that imagination is fostered within the classroom, yet, as Hopkins highlights, “26 percent [of children] feel as though they do not need to use their imagination for their study or schoolwork”. He then provides numerous examples of where imagination is being fostered and nurtured, such as in The Green School in Copenhagen or the School of the Possible in France. By the end of the book, the “utopian ideal” that was set out in Hopkins’ introduction seems somewhat less distant, somewhat more achievable, and all it really takes is a bit of imagination.

in 1997 • when the world had already accepted at COP2 in Geneva the scientific findings on climate change, proffered by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in its 1995 second assessment • and the Kyoto Protocol was signed by 150 Nations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, whilst also being required to prepare policies for the agreed upon reduction in same • as well as his inability to influence George Bush's rejection of the Kyoto Protocol and his subsequent COP involvement as the representative of the peoples of all the nations of the the UK, which culminated in the Bali Action Plan that acknowledged unequivocally that climate cutting emissions and mitigation of climate change was strongly needed • Tony Blair's influence on the global powers that be, with respect for and regard to THE URGENT ACTIONS that needed to BE TAKEN, was insignificant at best, whilst he stuffed his pockets with tax payers cash, for the benefit of himself and his family.
... here we are today in commensurate consideration of the very real ramifications of our nation's actions according to the script of MR. TONY BLAIR, faced with the very consequences of nature's climate crisis and the UK Government's response to nature's SARS pandemic response • at a [TIME] when pensioners are faced with a doubling of their home heating/cooking expenditure • [BE]ing advised that our Lords & Masters will be appointing our ex-PM MR.TONY BLAIR as a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior British Order of Chivalry.

conomic news seems to have been positive, with equities underpinned by an apparent triple lock of policy action in America, Europe and China. What could possibly go wrong? " -"To repeat Harold Macmillan's old saw – "events, dear boy, events". In the euphoria of recent central bank action, investors seem plain to have forgotten that restoring stability is a war on many fronts. Just as macroeconomic risk subsides, a number of geo–political threats have come roaring back to take their place. Chief among these is the possibility of Israeli military action against Iran.""Likewise with China, where the promise of massive fiscal stimulus may be more illusion than real. Capital Economics has taken a look at the recent flurry of infrastructure announcements in China and come to the conclusion that they don't really amount to a fresh fiscal stimulus at all, merely a repackaging of already known about initiatives into a seemingly impressive headline number.
The Chinese leadership must have been taking lessons from one Gordon Brown."
"In any case, hopes of a policy induced recovery may all along have been misplaced. Into this mix stumbles our old friend the Middle East, which can always be relied on to turn any already unstable situation into a complete rout."
"All the good work that central banks have been doing in underpinning confidence is in danger of being swept away by events over which we have no control. What's more, with the monetary dial already turned up to 11, there is little more policy can do to fight the effect with fresh monetary stimulus. The inflationary consequences of rising energy costs make any such action trickier still.
"Who knows? Maybe it won't happen. But financial markets may be set for another turbulent autumn."
