All of these accelerated trends - velocity, multiplicity, interconnectivity - are creating a completely new world in which the mastering of complexities will be the key challenge.
Of course, the more complex the system is, the greater the risk of systemic breakdowns.
When we look at our governance systems, above all global governance, we see the stress symptoms of leaders who are having difficulty in coping with the complexities of today's world. The sub-prime and Euro economic crises are primary examples of the unintended consequences resulting from actions taken in unchartered territories. Today, the whole world, inclusive of G20 countries, is consumed by fire-fighting rather than fire prevention and mitigation. But there's a tipping point where velocity, interconnectivity and complexity become so pervasive that the whole system collapses, regardless of whether certain elements at the surface of the system are fixed. We may not have the foresight and collaborative spirit to shape our global future, but at least we should have the survival instinct to move from pure urgency-driven risk management to much more collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening our risk resilience.
This implies a multi-stakeholder effort by governments, business, science and civil society to create a much more appropriate global rules-bases system. This should at best guarantee that the complexity of the system is not exploited for the individual gain to the detriment of global society.

A New Spiritual Orientation
Evolution is a new spiritual orientation. Most of us with a Western education are familiar with the idea of cosmic evolution—we're aware that the cosmos is in a process of ever-greater complexification and that we are part of that evolving process. We're aware of the Darwinian notion of biological evolution and accept the scientific evidence about how life has evolved. And some of us are even aware of the notion of cultural evolution, the recognition that culture has been developing over time through a series of stages.
BUT very few of us are really awake to the notion of spiritual evolution.
Seeing evolution as a spiritual unfolding that has an exterior and an interior, and understanding that our own experience of subjectivity is the leading edge of the interior of that creative process, is a very recently emerging idea.
Traditionally, spiritual teachings pointed to a static attainment. The aspiration for enlightenment was the aspiration to come to rest in a steady state—in nirvana, in heaven. But when spirituality is reinterpreted from an evolutionary perspective, it is the aspiration for infinite becoming. The evolutionary impulse is an infinite reaching towards the future that affects the way we think about everything. Now we are no longer looking for spiritual liberation and release beyond the world, or after we die. We realize that the spiritual release is found in unconditionally, radically, and totally embracing the creative process of infinite becoming, as ourselves. It's a very different orientation to spiritual liberation.

A DECADE of so-called MIDDLE-WAY•DISASTER
To Blair, the British public are there to be invoked in speeches.
To actually consult them is a form of suicide and as far as his 10 years in power starting in 1997 • when the world had already accepted at COP2 in Geneva the scientific findings on climate change, proffered by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in its 1995 second assessment • and the Kyoto Protocol was signed by 150 Nations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, whilst also being required to prepare policies for the agreed upon reduction in same • as well as his inability to influence George Bush's rejection of the Kyoto Protocol and his subsequent COP involvement as the representative of the peoples of all the nations of the the UK, which culminated in the Bali Action Plan that acknowledged unequivocally that climate cutting emissions and mitigation of climate change was strongly needed • Tony Blair's influence on the global powers that be, with respect for and regard to THE URGENT ACTIONS that needed to BE TAKEN, was insignificant at best, whilst he stuffed his pockets with tax payers cash, for the benefit of himself and his family.... here we are today in commensurate consideration of the very real ramifications of our nation's actions according to the script of MR. TONY BLAIR, faced with the very consequences of nature's climate crisis and the UK Government's response to nature's SARS pandemic response • at a [TIME] when pensioners are faced with a doubling of their home heating/cooking expenditure • [BE]ing advised that our Lords & Masters will be appointing our ex-PM MR.TONY BLAIR as a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior British Order of Chivalry.

The Department for Health & Social Care (DHSC) lost 75% of the £12 billion it spent on personal protective equipment (PPE) it spent on personal protective equipment (PPE) in the first year of the pandemic to inflated prices and kit that did not meet requirements – including fully £4 billion of PPE that will not be used in the NHS and needs to be disposed of. There is no clear disposal strategy for this excess but the Department says it plans to burn significant volumes of it to generate power – though there are concerns about the cost-effectiveness and environmental impact of this “strategy”.

The “sail” to take humanity on a journey into the waters of freedom, must be hoisted by all, collectively.
Advertising “sales” last year totaled 1.6 billion dollars to encourage our children to buy soft drinks and snacks.
1.1 billion people on this planet do not have clean drinking water…including CHILDREN.
2 Sense Worth in our planets most precious resource, our children…. is perhaps the place to launch our dreams.
When our race learns to follow the stars of compassion, and put the children at the helm,
we can sail smoothly to a path of calmer waters, and leave the path of destruction we have created…behind.
