The weather has affected all agricultural sectors with many struggling

to cope with the impact of one of wettest and coldest years on record

and a late spring. Meanwhile the Schmallenberg virus has hit farmers

hard, with some losing up to 80% of their lambs. To help those worst

affected The Prince's Countryside Fund is working with its partners FCN,

R.A.B.I., Addington and RSABI to provide financial aid, fodder for livestock

and emotional support -

Due to the unprecedented weather conditions over the last 12 months, until the end of April 2013 all donations will be given directly to the Farming Help Charities (The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, Farming Community Network and the Addington Fund in England and Wales, and RSABI in Scotland).
