the old way - not by their political party, or who could speak the loudest, boast the most, or by name calling or mud slinging, but by those whose actions spoke the loudest. Those who demonstrated their love, wisdom, and courage and those who showed that they could and did work for the good of all, would be chosen as the leaders or Chiefs. They would be chosen by their “quality” and not the amount of money they had obtained. Like the thoughtful and devoted ”Ancient Chiefs”, they would understand the people with love, and see that their young were educated with the love and wisdom of their surroundings. They would show them that miracles can be accomplished to heal this world of its ills, and restore it to health and beauty.

untain, the universe had them produce a very rare Active Play Videodisc of the concert, in PAL hi-quality sound and video format, which contained several shots of volcanic lava exploding and traveling over the islands of Hawaii. I used the individual shots on that videodisc with this system to explain and demonstrate the art of the possible to Oxford Universtity Press which led to the production of the Volcano Videodisc and subsequently to the persuasion of Apple Computers of the fact that Interactive Multi-media Communications might be THE next THING to focus on for the future after desk-top publishing.

int of understanding dimensions, that they are all but symbolic representations of
information. Once you understand this, you can realise that all experience is just a symbolised
representation of information, that the information is the true reality and the method of
symbolisation is a choice. Our experience is our choice of the representation of information.
Every quality we experience that has variation is a dimension, so while we may have the experience
of a reality of 3 spacial dimensions, there are far more dimensions than that in our experience.
In the dream, I went into some depth about 2 and 3 dimensional qualities, such as colour and
how every part of our experience, yes even emotions, can be seen as the symbolic projection
of dimensional information, which could also be represented formulaically, each parameter
representing a dimension, but I will cut to the chase here.
Neither science nor religion has satisfactorily explained where "this lot" came from, for
whatever answer they give, there is always the question, "and where did that come from?".
Even philosophy cannot explain this unless first it shows that everything is information.
Once this is recognised, we only have to ask where the information came from and the answer
to that is it all comes from nothing. There is no need to ask where nothing came from, yet it
contains all the logic needed to propagate all possible information. The information we
symbolise as experience is but a tiny fragment of the whole which contains all possibilities.

old order, and only luke-warm defenders in all those who would profit by the new order. This quality of lukewarmness arises partly from a fear of adversaries, who have the law on their side, and partly from the incredulity of mankind, who do not truly believe in anything new until they have had actual experience of it.”
Machiavelli - The Prince - 1513
When Machiavelli penned these words of wisdom to his old friend - Leonardo da Vinci - who was ensconced at Le Clos Luce in the grounds of Chateau d'Amboise - Machiavelli was already tending to Leonardo's vineyard back home in San Casciano, Italy and four years later Machiavelli wrote to Leonardo from Florence saying ...
"Leave it to the politicians - and me - to decide the fate of Florence, Milan and Rome. There is enough intrigue to keep a thousand occupied each day, and we will not see your talent in the mists of this scheming." - plus ca change !
can I act as a conscious and sensitive man without losing my masculine edge?
How can I find the inner strength and fortitude I need to face the great challenges of my life?
How can I overcome aggression and use my anger in a constructive, rather than destructive, way?
How much of my identity as a man is being conditioned and limited by my culture, and how can I become free of those limitations?
How can I be more present and find more happiness in my intimate relationships?
How can I establish a more healthy relationship with sex, intimacy, and pornography?
How can I find and express my masculine power without being a complete asshole about it?
Many men struggle to ride the line between power and compassion, between strength and vulnerability, between purpose and passion. It can be difficult for men to venture very far beyond the conventional norms of masculinity, and we have few roadmaps or role models to help men cultivate qualities like sensitivity, presence, and openness without feeling like they are surrendering their masculinity in the process.
Our world places some unforgiving restrictions upon men when it comes to the avenues of self-discovery and self-expression available to them. The more we can begin opening these avenues to men, the better the world will be.
This is what makes this discussion so important. Robert and Ken disclose a newly emerging path for men in the 21st century, one that allows these “softer” qualities to actually enhance and deepen a man’s sense of masculinity, rather than diminish it. It is a discussion that brings some much-needed relief to the pain so many men feel in their hearts, minds, and guts.
Whether you are a man who is looking for new ways to develop and express your masculinity, or a woman who wishes to better understand and support the men in your life, you will definitely want to check out this provocative discussion.
re for our lives to become an unceasing manifestation of its multidimensional nature. We would expect our actions to embody its most significant qualities.
That means we would be expressing freedom and creativity in and through the way that we live the gift of life. And this would occur both as the spontaneous expression of a liberated heart and mind and as the practice of evolutionarily enlightened living.

an "eternal beta" in true Web 2.0 style, but decided to let it stand as is and start working on future projects. Many of my future videos will address the last 30 seconds of this video (the "rethink ..." part).
Thank you all for the helpful comments on the earlier draft. It has been a great experience to connect with so many people interested in

I received many more positive comments than negative about the song choice (great work Deus!), but if you are one of those who does not like the song just download the video and change the audio track to your liking.
The video was created by me (Michael Wesch), working alone from my house in St. George, Kansas. I used CamStudio for the screen captures and Sony Vegas for the panning/cropping/zooming animations. Someday I might make a video tutorial for those who are interested.…
